Many people unknowingly teach their dogs NOT to Come to them long before they start formal training. The dog always has a choice – respond to you or ignore you… It is your job to teach the dog that coming to you is by far the best thing in life.
Why is your dog acting the way he does? Do you understand what his behavior is telling you? What is really going on when he “appears to be aggressive”.
Most of what you read on the internet or hear people talk about dogs being aggressive…”being in charge or being dominant, controlling, alpha or submissive” is not true. Rather than being aggressive, your dog is more than likely afraid of something.
